2011 Beerdrinker of the Year Search is Underway

2010 November 10

A brewer in Colorado is seeking beer resumes from the nation’s most beer-minded men and women for its 2011 Beerdrinker of the Year contest. The competition seeks and honors America’s most passionate, knowledgeable beer lovers and ambassadors.

The Wynkoop Brewing Company has been running the contest for 15 years. The Beerdrinker of the Year wins free beer for life at the brewery and $250 of beer at their local brewpub or beer bar as well as an engraved trophy and the lofty acclaim that comes from being named the nation’s greatest beer nut.

To enter the contest, you must submit a beer resume that includes your beer philosophy, your understanding of beer, its history and importance to civilization, and your 2010 beer experiences (in other words, stress your passion for beer!).

Resumes must be sent by email to beerdrinker@wynkoop.com, and be received by Wynkoop by no later than December 31, 2010.

For all the rules and the full press release, visit Wynkoop.com.

Pardon us please, while we pay for beer...
