Whether cajun cooking thrills you or scares you, here is a recipe we can all deal with—unless you don’t eat pork. This recipe really doesn’t get any easier, unless someone cooks it for you and brings it to you with a beer on the side. In fact that sounds good… add a beer to the ingredients list.

    Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork center loin chops – 1 1/2 inches thick
  • 1 teaspoon of seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of rubbed sage
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

Mix all the seasoning together in a resealable bag. This way you don’t make a mess on the counter. (Less clean up work later). Now coat the chops with the mixture, both sides. You’re halfway there already… all that’s left is to grill them on medium-high heat for 7-8 minutes per side. Turn your chops only once so you don’t lose any flavor.

And listen, if your afraid of the heat factor (which you should’t be) just lessen the amount of Cayenne pepper. But don’t go calling them Cajun chops anymore.
