Bacon Wrapped Chicken
Thick bacon wrapped around tender chicken breasts with cream cheese centers. Serves six people.
- 6 boneless, skinless, chicken breast halves
- 1 package whipped cream cheese w/onion & chives (8 oz)
- 6 slices bacon
- salt and pepper, to taste
Flatten chicken to 1/2-inch thickness. Spread 3 tablespoons cream cheese over each. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; roll up. Wrap each with a slice of bacon. Place, seam side down, in a 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 400 for 35 to 40 minutes or until juices run clear. Broil 6 inches from heat for 5 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
