How about 1977’s overseas baddie, "The Wild Geese"? A group of alcoholic has been European actors, led by Richard Harris and the indominable Richard Burton head south to Africa to bring back happier times.

Classic scene is an obviously hammered Burton, slamming down a second pint glass of warm scotch, utters; "I never drink on the job"…(Irony IS ironic after all!). Burton continues in self mockery; "There is a codicil in my contract stating that when I die, my liver is to be buried separately–with honors!"

Who can see fault in that?
