Scientists say even hamsters get the winter blues.<br />

Researchers at Ohio State University wanted to see if rodents suffer from winter depression, like humans.<br />

They exposed hamsters to varying amounts of light each day.<br />

They found hamsters that spent less time in the light, ate less and appeared more anxious.<br />
