    Anheuser-Busch will tap into the world?s growing online community (get it, &quot;tap&quot; into!) by launching an internet-based entertainment network called Bud.TV.<br />

    The site will feature 24-hour live and on-demand programming including humorous webisodes, sporting events, consumer-generated content, field news reports, celebrity interviews, music downloads and comedian vignettes.<br />
    <br />
    The press release reads as if the PR guy never heard of iFilm, Atom Films, YouTube or Google Video, with phrases like &quot;first-of-its-kind initiative,&quot; &quot;emerging media&quot; and &quot;unique online network.&quot;<br />
    <br />
    Aside from the fact that this site will serve AB as one big commercial for Budweiser, the real reason that this won’t take off is their &quot;innovative desktop application&quot; that will be used to view the content. Can you say &quot;Windows-only app with ads wrapped in ads?&quot;<br />
    <br />
    All this excitement is slated to launch in February 2007.
