    I purchase a Brinkmann smoker to insulate and use in the winter. If you add a damper to the air inlet you can maintain a steady 225 to 250. <br />
    Use a piece pf sheet metal and a nut and bolt to pivot the metal. I added a piece of coat hanger to the metal so I could adjust the damper.
