A group of California residents has sued Anheuser-Busch Inc. and Miller Brewing alleging the brewers are intentionally targeting minors through their advertising. <br />

The suit, filed in Los Angeles, alleges the brewers are violating California law by promoting and facilitating underage drinking. It was filed under California’s unfair competition and public nuisance laws.<br />
<br />
The suit cites both companies’ "alcopops," such as A-B’s Doc Otis’ Hard Lemon Malt Beverage and Miller’s Jack Daniel’s Original Hard Cola that resemble soda with their flavors, bright colors and "youthful" packaging.<br />
