I mentioned this because of very mixed reports so I take it as sort of a legend of Orson. A few engineers working with Wells have conflicting info even. For me this only adds to the mystery, making it that much better a story.<br />
I haven’t found too much info on it online in a long time. I read it somewhere in the very early ’90s, and was amazed that I read it in more than one place.<br />
