Billed as “the Rarest Gift,” Johnnie Walker is offering custom engraving on bottles of Blue Label this holiday season.
Your personal message, logo or crest may be engraved directly into the glass bottle, although logos and crests may be a corporate thing. A 750ml engraved bottle is $225, which is not a horrible price for Blue.
The big bottle is $550, but I always thought of Big Blue like the stuff of legend… I’ve heard about the 1.75 bottle, but never had one.
If you don’t know anything about scotch, but know someone who likes scotch, you can’t go wrong with this gift. As a growing fan of fine scotch, I can barely drink Black Label anymore… and Red is NOT for Christmas.
