    DUSSELDORF – Retired electrical engineer Hermann Doernemann, who is 111 and credited as the oldest man in the world, enjoys a daily dark beer, according to his son-in-law Bernd Klein. <br />

    The German, who lives with his children, gained the title with the death Friday of Fred Hale of the United States at the age of 113. <br />
    <br />
    The retired electrical engineer says a daily dose of a good dark beer kept him feeling on top of the world.<br />
