Los Angeles (Reuters) — Independent film companies Roadside Attractions and Samuel Goldwyn Films have acquired the right to distribute film documentary and recent Sundance Film Festival hit "Super Size Me" in movie theaters. <br />

"Super Size Me," which earned director Morgan Spurlock the Sundance award for documentary directing, chronicles Spurlock’s month-long binge during which he ate nothing but fast food from McDonald’s Corp restaurants. <br />
<br />
The film documents the effects on his body — ranging from weight gain to health issues with asthma and his liver, and looks at other topics affecting people’s health such as school lunch programs, physical education and food addiction.<br />
