Food Network wants all favorite family recipes submitted for a new competition series called Ultimate Recipe Showdown.<br />

Starting today, Food Network will accept recipe entries that are original concoctions and will be judged by the Food Network panel on originality, presentation and taste. They must also fall into one of six categories: Chicken, Soups and Stews, Cakes, Cookies, Pasta, Comfort Food and Burgers.<br />
<br />
The top nine entries in each category will travel to Los Angeles this August for the final competition, with the winning contestant receiving $10,000.<br />
