Does a better glass make for a tastier beer? Samuel Adams says yes and they are putting their glass on the line.<br />

The Boston Beer Company has introduced "A New Glass," which they claim is specially designed to enhance the imbibing experience.<br />
<br />
The Boston-based company, which brews the Samuel Adams brand, enlisted the help of "sensory experts" from Tiax, a technology processing firm, to build a glass that would bring out the best in their products.<br />
<br />
In a statement posted on their Web site, Boston Beer Company founder Jim Koch said: ?We wanted to create a glass that offers beer lovers a full sensory drinking experience…"<br />
<br />
The glass offers a more bulbous shape than the typical pint glass and was designed with the purpose of, among other things, "maintaining the ideal temperature; supporting a rich and creamy head; and sustaining the right amount of carbonation."<br />
