Michael Clarke Duncan will star in comedy troupe Broken Lizard’s fifth film, "The Slammin’ Salmon."<br />

The movie is set in a Miami restaurant owned by Cleon "Slammin’" Salmon (Duncan), a brutal former heavyweight boxing champion who institutes a competition to see which waiter can earn the most money in one night.<br />
<br />
Broken Lizard returns to its indie roots with it’s fifth film… the band of comedians raised financing, wrote the screenplay and will co-star in the movie.<br />
<br />
Kevin Heffernan makes his directorial debut on the feature, which began shooting this week in Los Angeles.<br />
<br />
A short while after <strong>BeerFest</strong> was released, we reported that Broken Lizard was about to film <a href="https://www.briansbelly.com/bar/viewtopic.php?t=711&highlight=broken+lizard"><strong>Funny Fat Guy</strong></a>. Then Variety reported that Jay Chandrasekhar was to direct <strong>Ambulance Chasers</strong> with the team.<br />
