I’m an Opie and Anthony listener, so this flick was news to me. I can imagine that Howard Stern listeners have been hearing about this movie ad nauseum.
"Artie Lange’s Beer League" is a comedy about Artie (Artie Lange), an unemployed underachiever who still lives with his mother and plays in a small town softball league in New Jersey with his rag-tag group of misfit friends, including co-star Ralph Macchio (I *think* he was in Karate Kid).
The trailier is available on the official site as well as a clip or two on YouTube. I also found the highlight of the Howard Stern Film Festival on YouTube, Queer League, which made me laugh twice, which was one time more than the Beer League trailer.
It’s a good time to be a beer drinker, with Broken Lizard’s Beerfest currently in theaters… though I’m not sure if Artie Lange can beat Broken Lizard at the box office.
"Artie Lange’s Beer League" opens September 15th.
