Boulder, Colorado based Americana band Buckskin Stallion has recently released their debut CD. "Blue Ribbon Buzz" is an ode to industrial beer (particularly the PBR 30-pack) and the rootsy Americana tradition of the story-song.<br />

"We play our own brand of roots rock," says Buckskin Stallion?s leader,<br />
Troy Schoenfelder. "It?s part salt of the earth, part fire in the belly, and one hundred percent rousing ruralism."<br />

Schoenfelder and his buddies mix three minute draws of beer-soaked bliss with shots of roots rock. The end result is rousing red, white & blue music that stirs the feet, stirs the heart, and no-doubt stirs the "fire in the belly" that Schoenfelder speaks about.<br />
