Good Eats host Alton Brown was rushed from the set of Iron Chef America during a taping last week due to a heart condition.

In his weblog, Alton states "the rumors of my death were greatly exaggerated." Stress, fatigue and dehydration were the culprits that threw his heart into arrhythmia.

"So let’s recap," Alton says; "I am not dead. I did not have a heart attack. In fact I?ve seen an ultrasound of my heart and it looks darned fine. I just gotta get a little more sleep and I?ve got to lay off those espressos."

We do not apologize for the banner headline however, as Alton R. Brown Jr. (77) of Alabama recently passed away.
