Autumn that chill is in the air, July 4th seems like an old memory, and the leaves on the trees are falling like the Roman Empire. OK, Dennis Miller I am not. But it is that time of year when baseball fans take off their drinking hats and football fans put theirs on. ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!
Actually, I have a better question for you are you ready for some awesome tailgating? I know I am, and here at Brians Belly we want to help you all out so that youre prepared to enjoy a great pre-game party and not miss a minute of the game. We know that being a die hard fan of football goes well beyond watching the game to go the whole nine yards you also have to include the party around the game.
Tailgating is one of those events that can be very simple or you can go for a full-blown, no-holds-barred, over-the-top party. The amateurs may begin with stopping at a deli and getting a couple heroes, hoagies, grinders or poboys (depending on where your deli calls home) and the classic six-pack of beer, while the professional tailgaters settle for no less than a culinary feast with filet mignon and champagne.
But you have to face it the more complex your party gets, the longer the checklist is. Nothing sucks worse than pulling into the lot and realizing that your cheese on a roll is going to taste pretty lousy without a burger underneath it.
One of the mantras of Brians Belly is to help you through the tough spots in life to get you right into what you like to do best eat and drink. With that in mind, weve assembled a list of some of the things you may not even be thinking about if you havent been to the park in awhile. And there is one thing that we can not stress enough PREPARATION, PREPARATION, PREPARATION. OK, three times is enough.
