  • Our economic meltdown has stifled entrepreneurial activity across the board. But as we’ve mentioned recently, craft beer makers are seeing slow, but still-strong sales increases as they outperform the rest of beer industry.

  • Beer Wars is an upcoming documentary about the clash between corporate beer companies and independent brewers. The movie is billed as an irreverent and comical journey through the underbelly of the American beer industry. Hmmm… might be more like the beer belly of the industry.

  • That’s a catchy title, eh? I have to admit, I did not make it up… I stole the subject from a website called SheKnows, a potpourri of exciting articles for the ladies. I don’t want to spoil the ending, but the green food coloring dye did it.

  • A visually delicious website popped up on the interwebs last month. This is Why You’re Fat is food porn at it’s finest… a photo stream of the world’s frankenfoods submitted by you, the fat bastard that created the marvelous monstrosity.

  • Just when I was getting over the recent excitement of the Bacon Explosion, this month’s Wired magazine introduced me to Baconnaise, a spreadable hammy condiment that I had to get my hands on immediately to test and review.

  • Party-goers woke up early this morning to begin Fat Tuesday celebrations in New Orleans. Hundreds of floats hit the French Quarter streets as the Bacchanalian blowout continued just hours after the end of Monday night’s Mardi Gras parade on Bourbon Street.
