Wieners. Foot-longs. Red-hots. No matter what you call ‘em, they’re all hot dogs- and the official food of summertime needs no introduction. But since July is National Hot Dog Month we thought we’d give you a little background on the tasty little meat pack that is rich in history and is about more than the lips, assholes and old shoes you thought.

MillerCoors has recalled a batch of Coors Light in the Southeastern United States after taste tests at the company’s Georgia brewery found the beer to be subpar… which makes me wonder why it wasn’t recalled YEARS ago.

The Food Network has a casting call for the Food Network Challenge. They are looking for outgoing families who are competitive, have a great story as well as unique Thanksgiving food traditions to battle in a nationally televised Thanksgiving meal competition.
